I can not believe that the whole Professor Layton series is ending this year! I will cry so hard once I beat the Azran Legacies! D;

In my opinion, I don't really think the Professor Layton series are really going to end, just yet. There's still pending news and topics to go around about an animated feature film sequel and maybe enhanced versions of the previous trilogy game for the new gaming consoles that's been released recently. These aren't happening yet, but these ideas have been considered by the professionals who have created the game.

Of course, the main studio wouldn't really let us down on such a good gaming franchise so soon.

When I hear the series is ending, I personally feel they are saying, 'giving-this-series-a-break', which is alright and understandable. That way, they can also focus on other good gaming titles like Ni No Kuni, localizing PLvsAA...etc...and by then...hopefully, they would come back upon creating more Professor Layton projects such as a movie or spin offs.

It's all optimism here.
So, don't lose hope about the last prequel game of the trilogy yet.

but I've been switching back and forth between my favorite gaming series from Pokemon to another game then to Professor Layton then another game. Dx

Right now, it's been Pokemon.

I just got the mystery dungeon game, but I don't think I'll have that much free time as of now to play through all of it.
